Suzi is a designer artist. Her work covers a wide range of subjects and scale.
After gaining a BA Hons at Loughborough University of Art and Design; she joined a graphic design team; before going solo. Suzi’s media includes glass engraving, drawing and painting and her subject matter ranges from explorations of nature, landscape and capturing people going about the everyday. In public collections her designs can be seen on file for greetings cards and book illustrations. She has been a member of various Craft Guilds and the Craft Council Register.
Suzi has been teaching and running art classes for students of all ages for many years and currently splits her time between Buckinghamshire and the Isle of Arran; the latter being the inspiration for her current painting series. She has undertaken numerous workshops and special projects in hospitals, schools and museums; notably at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Missenden Abbey.
Her art weekends and weeks are run throughout the year; previous locations have included Norfolk, Devon, Brittany, French Alps and Italy. The current location for these trips is the Isle of Arran. Suzi’s work is held in Private Collections in the UK, Europe, America, India, Australia, and New Zealand.
Commissioned work undertaken for the Habib Bank, the BP Head Office, Selfridges window, Champneys, Board Room pieces for offices in Milton Keynes and the RSPB Sandy.
Works purchased by Buckinghamshire County Museum.
