JUNE 22nd – How to Create Texture and join Clay – make a Fish!

Whole day workshop with leading ceramic artist Debbie Nairn, learn two basic techniques of working with clay then adding texture for detail, resulting in your own piece (a Fish) to take away.

All materials provided but please bring an apron.

Plan for the day:

Make two pinch pots – explanation / demonstration / making

Cutting out fins and tails etc – explanation / demonstration / making

Lunch – (45 mins)

Joining clay – explanation / demonstration / making

Texture –  fins and scale detail – demo / making

If you would like to have the work fired, there will be an additional charge of £10 but this can be discussed with Debbie at the end of the day.
